What did you learn during the ball activities today? How important is it to listen to those around you and the ideas they have?

It helps in any group activity to actually work as a group. You need communication and groupwork. Also, if someone has an idea, everyone needs to listen. In other words, to work as a group, you need to include everyone. Any idea may help. Larissa Shaffer
I learned that we all had to work together, and that everyone's opinions and thoughts matter. There were some VERY good ideas that our group ignored at first, but later we realized that those were the ones that helped accomplish this activity...so no matter what, don't shoot down someone else's thoughts until you try them.
During this activity we learned that there are easier ways to do something besides the obvious way as long as you follow directions. Also, it's important to listen to others ideas and atleast try them instead of shoot them down as soon as possible.
I learned that we needed some one to help everyone get the ideas out so we could do it faster and we should of had some one listen to everyones ideas so we could communicate together to make a better plan to do the experimeny faster and more effectant like a big company byut we didnt listen to each other and so we didnt get everyones ideas to make us do it faster and to shave seconds off the time and so basically we needed to communicate better and have some one listen to every ones ideas so we commiuncate to run the operation together as a big company.

Today, During the ball activity I learned that we need to make sure we listen to everyones ideas and suggestions because they might have really good ideas. Well, I learned that you have to have great problem solving skills to be a leader. One quality that you really need is LISTENING TO OTHERS! For Example today while doing our activity we were doing it over and over and couldn't figure it out. Then Nate asked a question, " Do we have to stay in the circle?" But no one listen. But Jennifer soon told us that it was important to listen to everyone's ideas.
During the ball activity, I learned that it is important to ask and see if you can make things easier. Also, it is important to listen tothe people around you and see what they have to say and give it a try because if you say, "That won't work," then they might not ever give you another idea.
Today durring this activity, I learnt listening to others ideas are important because they may have ideas that you have not thought of. It is important because their ideas, could help finish the task you are durring in a quicker and or easier way.
