What do we have in common?

Many times leaders encounter team members that are very different from them. Discuss how you, as a leader, may work to overcome these differences.

I would become the bigger person i would accept there difference and work with them to make a compramize between us so we can go on with the project and finish and do a ogood job in the end no matter how different we are we are all here to do the same project.

I can work to overcome this problem by finding something that we do have in common and working with that. Even though they are different, I can still listen to thier opinion on things and not turn down everything that they say.

Even if the team member is different you should just look past the differences and just work with them as if you were working with your best friend. You should still listen to their opinions and ideas cause they might have really good ideas.

When we did this activity, we wrote 4 things about ourselves and shared it with a partner. It helps to find out what others like to maybe do something that you have in common.

As a leader, if I have to work with someone very different from me, I must respect them. If there is a disagreement, we must compromise. If they don't respect me, I must still respect them and be the bigger person. We must work together

As a leader, I can work to overcome any differences I may have with someone by respecting them. If you respect someone and you respect what they say and what they think, then evenually you may be able to work together. By doing this you may make your idea and the team you are working with stronger.

One of the biggest and most challenging questions to ansewr is, "what do we have in common?" This is so hard to answer. Most people would say we are human, or that we all try to be nice and care, but by sharing our traits in a verbal conversation can mak ea difference and help us realize the things we do have in common.

The differences should not matter anywhere especialy in a working enviroment. It makes no difference if you like who you a working with, you should still complete the task as it is better for both of you. Complaining about your "Team" will get you no where and make progress slower.
